Fun Fall Festivals You Don't Want to Miss!

It's that time of year again when the signs of fall begin to fill the air: crisp mornings, leaves changing, and pumpkin everything hitting the shelves. One of my favorite traditions has always been hitting local festivals with the kids. Look below for some nearby highlights you won't want to miss!
 
PUMPKIN FESTIVAL AT CHATFIELD FARMS
WHEN: Oct. 11-13, 2019, Open daily from 9 a.m. ­- 5 p.m.  
WHERE: 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon
Enjoy a day of fall activities at Chatfield Farms. Ticket price includes access to the 10-acre pumpkin patch and family and children’s activities, including a 7-acre corn maze, pony rides, a jumping pillow, human hamster balls, food vendors, and more.

PUMPKIN NIGHTS
WHEN: October 17-November 3, Nightly from 5:30 pm-10:30 pm
WHERE: Adams County Fairgrounds
Venture along a half-mile walking path, where you’ll discover the Forbidden Pumpkin City, a pirate’s cove, and more fantastical lands built using over 3,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. The celebration continues with entertainment and games in Pumpkin Central, their festival area. 
 
PUMPKIN HARVEST FESTIVAL
WHEN: October 5-6, 2019
WHERE: Four Mile Historic Park
Find the perfect pumpkin, go for a tractor ride, play pioneer games, get your face painted, listen to live music, or enjoy a cocktail and some tasty treats at this family-friendly fall event!
 
ANDERSON FARMS FALL FESTIVAL
WHEN: Through November 3
WHERE: 6728 County Road 3 1/4, Erie
The site’s 25-acre corn maze—which is Colorado’s first-ever and longest-running—is back with a mesmerizing design to commemorate 20 years of celebration. The farm offers plenty more entertainment for every age, from pedal karts, jump pads, and crafts to farm animals, a barrel train, and pumpkins for picking—or even launching! It doesn't end there though. Visit their website for a full list of fun activities.
 
FALL FESTIVAL AT FLAT ACRES FARM
WHEN: Through October 31
WHERE: 11321 Dransfeldt Rd, Parker

Tons of the things to do a this seasonal festival including a corn maze, Kids Hay Bale Maze, duck races, giant Jenga, hay ride, bounce houses, jump pillow, corn hole, corn kernel boxes, swing set, climbing wall, petting zoo and more. Pick out that perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. Every visitor receives a free mini-pumpkin or mini-gourd.
